Our most popular service, the Perky Pooches Full Groom Service is a full pamper session for you pooch, including spa bath, fluff or stretch dry (coat type depending) a full body groom in any style you desire with a fully hand scissored finish to give an exceptional finish and a nail trim and ear clean to seal the deal.
Mini Trim
Also known as a hygiene groom, the mini groom helps keep your pooches skin and coat in optimal condition between their 6 weekly regular grooming. Starting with a spa bath and fluff dry and focusing on trimming the face, feet, hygiene, bottom and nails while brushing their coat thoroughly to ensure it is completely knot free. (This service does not remove any coat from the body)
Bath and Fluff dry
Has your pooch rolled in something or you have friends coming over and need your pooch smelling their best, the bath and fluff dry package will have your pooch looking a million dollars in no time. A spa bath, fluff dry and a good comb through to ensure their is no tangles as well as a nail trim and your pooch is ready to entertain your guests. (Only available to pooches who are knot and tangle free)
Bath and De-Shed
Double coated pooch leaving tumble weeds through the house? Sounds like he needs a de-shed! Perfect for double coated breeds such as Collie Roughs, Siberian Husky's, Alaskan Malamute's and more, your pooch will receive a deep cleansing scrub in the tub, be fully dried, nails trimmed and line combed and brushed to help remove all that coat and leave our salon looking like a blizzard just went through.
Hand stripping
Hand stripping is a practice used by show groomers and some pet groomers to keep the lush colour and harsh texture on most Terrier breeds. When done correctly it is a pain free way of removing the dead coat and allowing new coat to come through while maintaining the integrity of the coat.
Show Grooming
Get your pooch Best In Show worthy with the Perky Pooches teams extensive knowledge of breed specific grooming. Be it a Terrier that needs hand stripping, a Poodle that needs a full scissor or spaniel that needs a combination groom the Perky Pooches team will have them looking their best for the ring.
Nail Trims
Nail trims are included in each service above however if your pooches nails need a touch up in-between feel free to walk in at any time for a nail trim. $15
Flea Rinse
Any pooch that is presented to Perky Pooches with fleas will receive a mandatory flea wash to help protect all other pooches and keep our salon Flea Free! Or if you are concerned that your pooch might have fleas please ask the team to add a flea wash to one of the above packages. From $5
Sensitive skin shampoo and conditioner
If your pooch suffers from sensitive skin Perky Pooches has Melanie Newman Salon Essentials Sooth, Aloveen and Malaseb available in house to help keep your pooches skin itch free, just ask the team to add it onto one of the above packages. From $5. Or alternatively bring your pooches own shampoo and conditioner in with them (Please put their name on their bottle)
